Mission

In cooperation with other Diocesan information collections, the Anne Nevins Library works to serve the information needs of religious professionals throughout the Diocese of Venice in Florida.  An important part of this mission is to support Rice School students, faculty, and staff by providing supplementary course materials and information resources for research projects, theses and practicums, and for ministries.  Further, the Library seeks to serve the entire diocesan church, lay and religious, with materials related to all aspects of the faith, materials for serious study, spiritual development, and ministry. The subjects of church history, Christian morality and social justice teachings, scripture studies, liturgy and sacraments, ministry, church doctrine and ecclesiology, spirituality and faith formation are all part of our collection.
